First, a bit of background for you non-Tesla owners. For years, the car has been able to connect to an app, which is awfully cool. You can do all kinds of things with the car (control the air conditioning, open/close the sunroof, unlock the doors, etc.) One nice touch it’s always had is that it’ll show your exact model and color of car, so it actually looks like……..your car.
Periodically, Tesla will do a big software update to the vehicle, which usually takes place in the wee hours of the morning, and so when you get in the car, it will present to you the release notes. You’ll get to see the latest new features and improvements, which range from very useful (Dog Mode) to silly (the ability to compel the car seats to make farting noises).
Having seen this morning’s release notes, the entirety of which are shown below, I’m starting to think they’re running out of ideas.
So…………now I can alter the color of my car so it doesn’t LOOK like my car anymore?
Listen, as far as changing-the-color-of-things goes, I don’t think the representation of my car in the Tesla app is the issue.
