The big event in earnings this afternoon is going to be Tesla, which has spent three months trapped in a range of about $620 to $792.
I have no position in this beast (I try to avoid Tesla) but its outcome will have an outsized effect on market psychology, since it’s such an important (and massive) meme stock.
There is growing competition in the electric car space, of course. Judging from this week’s photos of Mr. Musk, everything else pales in comparison.
