Here’s an interesting little histogram to illustrate how Covid (thanks, China!) killed the airlines, but they have managed to crawl their way back.
I would mention, however, airlines have never been a good investment. Take United Airlines (please!) If you had the good sense to invest your cash into it 17 years ago, you would be looking at basically a 0% profit right now. So let’s all agree that not every stock is freakin’ AAPL or NVDA. A lot of stocks just plain suck, even over the long haul.
