Well, the debate is over, and my quick take is that Trump trounced Biden. The current President looked confused, decrepit, and lost, while Trump seemed relatively sharp, on-point, and in control. One look at the betting markets seems to align with my impression.
The equities futures have been steadily strong.
While bonds are selling off, which I suppose is meant to suggest that a Trump win would be bullish for interest rates.
I think the Biden team is going to be absolutely shitting a brick right now.
