I have been using a sliver of my profits from 2008 so far to acquire gold and silver bullion. I just took delivery of these two items – a kilogram bar of gold and a ridiculously heavy 1000 ounce brick of silver.
If Armageddon comes, this probably isn't a very practical currency (the brick practically takes a wheelbarrow). But at least it provides some sort of psychic relief.
