I've experienced a real time-shift doing this blog. Way back in the ancient times, I'd do a single post a few hours after the market closed. I then worked my way up to two or three posts a day. Then, this Autumn, as things got out of control, I'd be doing a dozen posts a day. And it's reached the point now where I'm doing my first post at 5 a.m. and by the time I used to do my once-a-day- post I have nothing left to say.
That's kind of where I'm at right at the moment. Spent! In fact, I think the whole market is in a state of neutral right now, not knowing what to do. The @NQ0812 is up 0.25 at the moment. In other words, basically unchanged. I was actually worried our data platform had stopped working, because none of the markets are moving at all.
The irony of me having nothing to say (said the man who kept typing………) is that it was a really dynamite day. The beauty of this community is that we've gathered a critical mass of good information for our favorite recipe – – a little moo here, a little Evil Speculator there, a dash of 2sweeties, a tablespoon of MoonTrader – – and we've got Cash Surprise. I'm just trying to be a decent host by providing a place to eat.
Maybe I'll have more to say later. Editorially speaking, today is a low point for Slope. But I think those of us who frequent this place made a lot of cash today, so we'll share forgiveness among each other, yes?
