People never learn. The mentality of high-risk investments is still running hot. I mean, good grief, I still get unsolicited texts like this on a regular basis.
What on Earth would I do with some “serious funds”? Why would my one person company need capital? To make a snappier logo?
And then, just minutes later, I got this email from Substack, the blogging platform:
Although I guess their gambit worked.
Take one look at IPOs over the past couple of years to find out how much sense it takes to “invest” in highly-speculative ventures. Although, hey, maybe I should take Slope public. The ticker symbol SLOP is probably available.
