The digital gambling tokens known as cryptocurrencies are having a fantastic year, and I imagine SBF is hurling himself at his prison cell bars if he has any awareness of how much the industry has recovered. Bitcoin is still about $13,000 below its lifetime high, but it has had an absolutely amazing run since the autumn of 2022. Notice its continuing relationship with the rainbow.
My preferred crypto, Ethereum, is also having a grand old time, blasting well above $3,000.
In turn, naturally, the crypto-related equities, such as Coinbase, has padding their gains.
My declaration that the introduction of Bitcoin ETFs would mark some kind of top was spot on……….for a few weeks! Since then, however, the crypto crowd has absolutely roared ahead with victory.
