In just two days, Bitcoin has blasted higher by about $10,000. Over the past fifteen months, BTC has gone from about $15,000 to four times that amount, and it’s actually getting within spitting distance of its lifetime high price of just under $70,000. The momentum is so tremendous, it has even reached Rainbow Escape Velocity, to coin a term.
Here’s all the historical data I’ve got, illustrating the three mega-rallies (showing, amazingly, how the past 15 months have actually been relatively tepid compared to the one during the Covid era) and its proximity to creating a headline-spawning lifetime high.
It seems that crypto has finally untethered itself from the equity animal spirits, since it wasn’t that long ago that the QQQ and BTC were practically interchangeable. Congratulations to those out there who have prospered from these suckers. It’s……….…quite a chart.
