As a bookend to my post earlier today about electric vehicles, here are the companies which supply the chargers to juice them up. Why these were such red-hot stocks in earlier days is beyond me (although I suspect people figured they’d be on the rich Build Back Better gravy train, which never left the station). Coinbase (COIN) is celebrating its ONE YEAR anniversary today as a public company.
In that time, during the most over-supported bull market in human history, it has lost 66% of its value.
Shareholders are not participating in the celebration.
As Tesla has sunk back down into the triple digits (bringing its P/E down to the bargain-basement level of merely, and I am not making this up, 209) the tiny upstarts that want “in” on all that sweet, sweet TSLA sector glory are coughing up blood. Here is a Whitman’s sampler:(more…)
