I honestly don’t care much about the whole heaven/hell thing, but it truly saddens me to see atheism gripping so much of America. Oh, well. We’re each responsible for ourselves, so it isn’t really any of my business or concern. My theory (based on nothing except a random thought in my head) is that 9/11 turned people off to religion in a huge way, since it was religiously motivated.
