You probably weren’t following the mini-series+soap opera+heavy drama of OpenAI like I was this weekend, but the rather unusual structure of the organization had a lot to do with it. Weirdly, the mayhem and finger-pointing generated over the weekend seems to have simply reinvigorated interest in the entire AI space once more, instead of compelling people to flee.
