We’ve all been anxious to see what the effects on the futures markets would be following yesterday’s first U.S. assassination attempt in nearly half a century. I’m only bringing this observations ten minutes after the opening bell, but so far, the /ES doesn’t care….
……the /NQ doesn’t care……
…….and even /GC, gold, doesn’t care. Every single one of these things had a quick, short-lived pop and then, as of this writing, they’re only up a tiny bit.
The one gigantic exception is BITCOIN, which is blasting thousands of dollars higher. This is quite odd, because I figure at least gold would tag along for the ride. For whatever reason, BTC is blasting into the stratosphere, so congrats to any of you crypto holders out there.
