As everyone on Earth knows, CrowdStrike has completely screwed up the computing world with their ham-handed software patch. What was curious to me is that so many folks were suggesting buying CRWD when it was “cheap” on Friday as it was getting trashed. Indeed, I had dinner with friends on Saturday night, one of whom proudly told me he had bought a ton of calls on CRWD for the same reason.

Listen, it’s simple. This stock’s name is MUD now. Their reputation is TRASHED. Their entire value is based upon trust and reliability. Nobody had ever heard of “CrowdStrike” a few days ago except for IT geeks, but now EVERYONE knows that name.
