Today feels a bit like the hangover after a big party. The nearly 300 point plunge yesterday (the party) stands in contrast to today's partial retracement.
I've been going through my own shorts and finding that a smallish number (less than 20) of my new shorts were entered hastily. That is, they didn't have the advantage I talk about on my rules page. It's not that they were bad charts; it's just that they didn't offer a strong enough reward/risk ratio to make. I got a little enthusiastic in my shorting, so I'm closing them out at anywhere from small profits to small losses (nothing big in either direction). It's a combination of cleaning up and risk reduction.
