I’ve placed countless thousands of trades in my life, but oddly, I don’t think I’ve ever touched General Motors, one of the longest-lived common stocks in the world. I was drawn to it, however, by this analog:
In particular, a few days ago, GM had a nice tumble that produced a gap. I was drawn to the clarity of the rounded top, so I purchased a block of $43 puts expiring January 19 2024. So long as the price actions stays within this tinted zone, I’m sticking with this trade.
