There’s a saying attributed to Pablo Picasso that a work of art is never finished, but only abandoned. Since I’ve written and re-written, and re-re-written my first novel, I can say I truly understand the expression now. It’s a much better creation, and I’m sure I’ll keep polishing it (but hopefully not too much, because I think I’m deep into diminishing returns). Let’s just say you haven’t heard the last of this book yet.
