Grind, grind, grind. A sky full of smoke. Absolutely no fire. This. Market. Stinks.
Not to say I lost money today. But eeking out a 0.18% gain for such an effort is – – how shall I put it – – uninspiring.
The range today was minuscule. It was the smallest range on the SPY I've seen since January 6th. Let's see what happened on that day………
I sure hope we get a repeat performance. To be blunt, even the market rockets higher, I'm in no position to take advantage of it (except for my permabull-based IRA). I am loaded to the teeth with puts and shorts, and even if I wanted to turn this battleship around, it would take too long. So I think I'll say an extra prayer tonight.
So the good Tim is hoping the evil Tim comes through tomorrow and says whatever needs to be said to shake things loose (to the downside). We can all only wait at this point.
