I have been, as you might guess, spending every spare moment reading the Steve Jobs biography since it was dropped on my doorstep Tuesday. It is having a surprisingly strong emotional effect on me, and once I'm done with it, I'm going to write a long post about the book and the feelings and memories it is bringing up. Steve Jobs wasn't always the world-class stage genius that he became. Here is a clip from the early 1980s in which he's at a television studio getting ready for an interview. He is so nervous he is ready to, in his own words, "throw up", and he's clearly excited to be in front of a camera. It's charming to watch, considering how amazing he became in later years.
