I have, of course, been watching the destruction and collapse of the entire cryptocurrency industry with fascination. What astonishes me, however, is the delusion. With every percentage point of the approximately 100 percentage points that have been shaved off crypto prices, the “media” in this nascent industry has declared that This Is The Bottom.
I mean, listen, I know what it’s like to be on the wrong side of a market. It sucks. But I’m not totally insane. If things are going against me, I’ll try to talk about the arguments from the other side. I’m not just going to go on and on about how Things Are Going To Turn Right Now, because before long I’ll have zero readers and zero credibility.
But the crypto world isn’t like that. Take a deep breath and read this. Just try to get your head wrapped around it.
