I am normally a brilliant sleeper. Not tonight. December 2018 is a month laden with decisions and news – – either good or bad – – for me. I am drenched with uncertainty and yet wrapped in faith. And I cannot sleep.
Here’s what’s happening as of this moment. The ES is crashing, although AS I AM TYPING THIS one could argue that this could be another “higher low” and we’ll just do another V bottom.
The exact same can be said of the NQ.
Crude oil is just a wreck. Now that Saudi Arabia is being called on the carpet (thank God) by some of the federal leadership in the U.S., things aren’t looking so good. Anyway, energy markets are just collapsing.
Oddly, the most exciting thing to me is bond strength, since I suspect this will continue to torch financial stocks.
And in the midst of this, what is our ostensible head of state saying? This is precisely what came out, and no, I did not photoshop this or make this up.
Speechless. Wow. OK.
Anyway, I’ve been around long enough to know that at some point today or tomorrow, the federal government will fall all over itself to issue some kind of statement about how The Economy is Fundamentally Sound or how trade talks are going super-duper, or some other specious nonsense. Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
