I never like it when someone purports to be “the devil’s advocate”, because I figure I’m about to hear something I don’t want to hear. In spite of that, I’ll take on this role and point out a potential area of bullish support (which, God willing, will shatter and crush the spirits of evil bulls the world over).

It’s a good day so far, in spite of the clowns in D.C. propping this circus tent up. I’ve got 60 shorts, 100% of which are profitable. Here are a couple of H&S patterns I talked about a week or two ago, and they’re doing great.(more…)
I trust everyone had a reasonably pleasant holiday weekend. Just a quick note to show that the boys in D.C. are still doing a yeoman’s job propping things up at the oh-so-magical figure of 2826. Every time they fire up the printing presses and start frantically pressing the “Buy” button at this level, it is more proof how important it is. Get a genuine break of 2826, and the wheat fields are cleared through 2626, a lusty 200 points below.
