I’ll just interrupt the mayhem of the trading day by making a musical observation: it never occurred to me before what an end-to-end masterpiece Who’s Next is. I am by no means an expert on The Who, but I felt like listening to My Wife the other day. It then started playing other songs from the same album, and every single one was a brilliant classic. Truly a musical masterpiece, because unlike, say, an album from the Rolling Stones (which typically had one or two hits and then a bunch of filler), this thing is solid GOLD.
Here’s just one of the songs, which I bet a lot of folks sounds like a man who would do anything to get together with some gorgeous woman but is actually about spiritual enlightenment.
