Once we get it wrapped up, MetaSymbols will be strictly a Gold and Platinum feature, but for now, I’m letting everyone use it. For one thing, there are precious few symbols to use! For the time being, you can invoke a MetaSymbol with a triple dollar sign. Thus, $$$AI brings up the symbol I created for artificial intelligence companies.
The cool-sounding $$$MAGNIFICENT is the seven stocks from the S&P 500 which have constituted the entirety of this year’s powerful tech gains.
Please let me know your “wish list” for the kinds of creations you’d like to see made in MetaSymbols. Just to close things up, I made a special one called $$$NASDAQSMALL which has 81 symbols (!!!!!!!!) which is basically the NASDAQ 100 without the mega-caps and without the more recent IPOs. It’s up 18% for the year, which is about one-third what the mega-caps are doing.
