You know it's a bad day in Tim-land when I'm dragging out my lottery longs, but that's what today is like. My 401-K positions are my only bright spot. Here are a handful of them; you can see all of them in the watch list labeled Long Positions (1 of 3) in the right column.
If you thought my idea to buy TBT two days ago was good, and you're holding, you might consider taking profits. Since I'm an idiot, I sold my TBT on Monday at a small profit, avoiding the nice 6% runup in the span of merely two days. Anyway, it was a very good trading idea, poorly executed by yours truly.

Well, the second part was a few days ago, and the first part is, uh, about right now.
Keep in mind we've been in the same trading range of about 860-950 since April. Bears and bulls have been bouncing between these levels for what seems like an interminable amount of time. I truly thought we were ready to sink beneath it, and I was positioned as such, and the past three days have been very painful.
