I was roaming through Visual Capitalist and noted these two interesting tables. One of them shows the richest countries in the world, with Luxembourg (“Gateway to Belgium“) at the tippy-top:

At the other extreme are the poorest, and when I say poor, I mean really poor. Burindi’s GDP is 1/5th of one percent that of Luxembourg!
