The SlopeAlerts feature on the site has been very active for me this morning, and not in a good way:
I realize there’s a subset of folks (perhaps even a preponderance) that get their jollies out of bad times for me and my fellow bears, I am earnest, if nothing else, so I share the news, whether good or bad (in spite of the fact that some of you, magically, seem to have nothing but winning trades. Strange, ain’t it?)
The one and only bright spot for me this morning is CROX, which took a hard tumble after earnings.
I have adjusted my portfolio to dispose of the wrecks (KBH, RCL, and a few others) and retain those with promise, and I am at 17% cash right now. This has definitely been the lamest week in quite a long while, and while that surely brings a grin to some of the sociopathic bulls here on my site, I’ll hold out hope to have my turn at the schadenfreude again soon enough.
