I was just going through some old boxes, and I happened to come across an old Barron’s from February 13, 2006. It had the Google logo written as “Gurgle” and showed it drowning in water……
Since Barron’s had so recently completely muffed it with Facebook, I was curious how their cover story aligned with Google’s price action. I guess I wasn’t that surprised:
It’s amazing to me this remains one of the world’s most respected and influential financial publications. I mean, sure, the “cover curse” is well-known, but Barron’s seems to have cornered the market.
