Now that I’m facing an $85,000 per year bill for Duke, I have mixed feelings about this. It’s quite obvious that, as usual, the government has mucked things up by pouring trillions into higher ed, which has been a shameless bonanza for colleges, and now they have to throw up their hands and consider the debt to be a lost cause.
