More Put Ideas

I did a very quick examination of the 500 charts in my "core list", and I found a lot of new put opportunities. I couldn't enter the orders fast enough, but here are some new positions I managed to enter. The order of these fields is underlying symbol, stop price, options symbol, quantity, and price paid.

Are We Repeating Ourselves?

By -

When you've looked at as many charts as I have (well into the six figures), you start to notice things. I saw this mildly interesting phenomenon. Here is the /ES from about 12/15 to about 1/15:

 So what we have here is…….

  • Yellow: A swift rise then fall;
  • Green: a relatively lengthy basing period;
  • Teal: A launch off the base, which quickly peaks and then falls back down to its launch price;
  • Magenta: A dip in prices, an attempt to push back into the launch area, and a subsequent failure

Here's the interesting part…………here's the /ES from 1/15 to date…….

Pretty interesting, eh?
