(more…)Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPAC, otherwise known as “blank check” companies) are all the rage these days. In more sane times, these would have been considered laughable, if not criminal, but we live in a strange era. This is a gently reminder that these beasts – – even those blessed with really cool ticker symbols – – are no sure thing.
One of my favorite newer features in SlopeCharts is the Labels function. We are continuing to enhance this, but one small improvement I wanted to bring to your attention is an addition to the dropdown: in addition to “All” or “Any” we now have “None“. For all you Boolean logic fans out there, this is simply a “NOT” applied against the labels, in those instances where you want to see the symbols that include none of the labels you have selected.
I have mentioned many times my puts in XME. I have mentioned just as many times how godawful slowly the thing moves. Thus, I bought March puts, to give me tons of time, although I think the ultimate move could be two or three years away.
