Happy Easter

By -

To my way of thinking, Easter isn’t about marshmallow Peeps or rabbits made out of third-rate chocolate or hunting for eggs. It’s a little bigger than that. And I think it would do you good, as it does me good, to watch the same movie I’ve watched every Easter for the past several years, which is provided below. It’s in Aramaic and Latin, but it doesn’t really matter – – it might even sink in more deeply without you being able to understand the words – – and it’s a hell of a lot more realistic than, say, Godspell, whose most brutal scene is a clown being tied to a chain link fence. This is a powerful movie that you may never forget.
