Five Degrees of Separation

On Tuesday, after ten years of effort by all kinds of organizations, the very first Bitcoin ETF will start trading (symbol: BITO).

In anticipation of this momentous occasion, let us take just a moment and consider that:

  • There is going to be an exchange traded fund……….
    • which trades as an equity…….
      • that is based on a futures contract…………
        • that is based on a cryptocurrency….
          • which is nothing but 1s and 0s.

I think if we add just more one section to that multi-layer cake, by way of creating options for BITO (and you just know they will!) then our heads will all collectively explode at just how bananas everything has become.

The Fantastic Four

It’s hard to believe, but we’ve only got 8 tickers to complete for the ticker.art NFT project to be finished. That will wrap up the 60 of this “First Edition”, and then we’re going to turn our attention to a totally new NFT project.

Of the 52 symbols created so far, 48 are sold, and 4 remain, including – just completed – Apple. Below is an image of all four remaining tickers, and here are the specific links on OpenSea: WWE, WMT, AAPL, and GILD.
