A Particularly Good Interview
I should be able to finish reading my “12 Rules” book tonight. Today I listened to the following, which was quite good, and certainly more pleasurable than the Peterson stuff out there which fans have slathered over with sappy music.
Endings That Bring Tears
There’s no reason you should know this, and perhaps no reason to care, but I am a hopeless romantic. I am sentimental to a fault. I cry with joy very easily. And I am easily moved by music, sight, and sound.
My love of movies runs deep, and there are many movie endings I adore. I was thinking today about three particular endings which always make me well up, and I was curious what they had in common.

With an understanding that there is always much more in play than nominal charts (the macro & sector fundamentals for example, which bounced of late but never did definitively flip positive), let’s review said nominal charts of gold, silver and HUI along with an update of the Gold/Silver ratio for good measure.

I am flabbergasted at the collapse of the fear index. In the span of just a few days, it was crushed to almost half its level, collapse from the mid-30s back into the teens. We see plainly that BTFD rules the human mind. My view is that this will be recognized as an error in judgment. I hate to put so much weight on one report, but I again point to tomorrow morning’s CPI data as a potential inflection point.
