Elon announced his unsolicited bid for Twitter (formerly TWTR) on April 4 of this year. Below are the price and percentage change charts since that date, illustrating what a wipeout it’s been (down about 55%).

It’s disgusting enough this man is paid $5 million a year to be wrong 100% of the time, but this level of caprice is psycho.
Weak Flash PMI
With all the excitement on Friday, I didn’t even have a chance to mention the one economic report of note that came out pre-open (and, indeed, just about the last important one until we’re well into 2023). Here we see the Flash Services PMI, as the economy continues to circle the drain, twirling us into a cataclysmic recession for 2023. It’s going to be quite a year for trading!
