At the end of every year, I take upon myself the massive task of going through the thousands of posts I’ve written and gathering together the very best of them. I’ve got to say, my jaw is sort of hanging open at how good the content at 2022 has been. The predictions I offered were eye-poppingly accurate, as you’ll discover when I roll out the “Best Of” series, but what shocked me just now was the item below, which I published on May 1st. I actually didn’t remember even knowing the NAME Samuel Bankman-Fried, but it turns out I wrote the following rather prescient tidbit in this awesome post.

I know that everyone and his pet rabbit are talking about Tesla, but honestly, in the company’s entire history, there has NEVER been a plunge in price anything like this. Not even close. I keep wondering if (a) the rest of the stock market will wake up and follow along with the plunge or (b) when TSLA finally does do the dead-cat-bounce thing, if it’ll just egg on equities. I’m, ummm, hoping for (a).
