The Juliet Letters

Having written something like 14,000 posts over the years, I don’t necessarily remember everything I’ve ever told you, but – – at the risk of repeating myself – – I wanted to say that the Juliet Letters is one of the most brilliant albums of all time. It’s been a favorite of mine ever since it came out (many years ago), and I’d urge you to check it out. Simply stated, it’s Elvis Costello with the Brodsky Quartet, performing a suite of his own original writing. Genius………You can pick it up at Amazon, of course. Here’s just one of the songs:

Let’s Make This Break Count

Well, one of the most expensive wars in human history (Iraq) has yielded absolutely Jack Squat for the United States, as Al Qaeda is sweeping through the north and making its way to capturing Bagdhad. This multi-trillion dollar cataclysm is resulting in a market crash of 5 points on the ES as I am typing this, and if thermonuclear war breaks out, we could well be looking at a loss of up to 2% on the Dow.

In any event, we’ve broken a modest topping pattern on the ES, and let’s see if – Obama style – we can do more.
