Andy’s Big Score
I usually piss and moan about IPOs being overvalued, but there’s one company that just went public that I’m not going to grumble about, because it was founded by someone who was very good to me, Andy Bechtolsheim. whom I described in my first segment of The Prophet’s Tale. (There’s also the fact that a Sloper works there and specifically emailed me and asked me to be nice). Anyway, Arista Networks just came flying out of the gates, and it looks like Andy has a couple billion more in his already very-full pockets……
Technical Problems
I said yesterday morning that I’d be impressed by a push up that broke the falling channel on RUT, and it broke up hard yesterday. I was duly impressed. The double bottom target is in the 1190 area and this updated version of a chart I posted last week shows the possible option that RUT is forming the right shoulder of an H&S with an ideal high in the 1182 area. The 1190 area is the obvious next target on RUT. RUT 60min chart:
