The horizontal line is by far the most popular item to put on a chart, since it is a quick, easy way to highlight a point of support or resistance. If you’d like to put text on the line to explain what it represents, right-click on the line and choose Change Style.
Electric vehicles continue to be all the rage. Tesla – -which Musk-haters have been trying to knock down for the past dozen years – – just keeps pushing to lifetime highs. I first went ga-ga over the Tesla vehicles here when the stock was at $37. It’s approaching $1100 now.
With the markets such a tangled mess these days, I continue to rely on important, long-term ratio charts to appreciate the big picture. Here, once again, is the Russell 2000 divided by the S&P 500, which suggests to me that small caps are going to be in for a rough ride for many, many months.
