After Trump surrendered to the Chinese on Sunday, the markets soared to new highs for the year, and in some cases, the highest levels in human history. The Major Market Index, for instance, has never been higher. Broadly speaking, though, there were shooting stars everywhere, such as with the Dow Industrials:

As we survey the scene of the cash indexes following the capitulation to the Chinese, we can see that it would take an electron microscope to discern the spread between Monday’s high and the “failure” levels I’ve been watching so nervously.
